At Arab Company for Electrical Industries (the authorized distributor of Panasonic and Maxel in Egypt), we are committed to protecting our customers’ rights in compliance with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations.

1.      Customer Right to Return or Exchange

·         Customers have the right to return or exchange a product within 14 days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason, provided that the product is in its original condition, unused, and accompanied by the original invoice.

·         Customers also have the right to return or exchange a product within 30 days if the product has a manufacturing defect, or if it does not conform to specifications, advertisements, or contract terms.

1.      Conditions of Return and Exchange

·         The product must be returned in its original packaging and in good condition as received.

·         Return or exchange is not accepted in the following cases:

×          If the product has been used or installed (except where a manufacturing defect is present).

×          If the product is among items that cannot be returned by nature (such as opened headphones, personal care accessories), as stipulated by law.

×          If the product was purchased under clearance/sale conditions where it was explicitly stated as non-returnable.

·         The product will be inspected to confirm its condition or the reported defect.

·         Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used in the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

·         For exchanges, the customer may select an alternative product of equal value or higher (with payment of the difference).

3.      Warranty and Repairs

·         All original Panasonic and Maxel products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, as stated in the warranty terms included with each product.

·         The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, accidents, or external factors.

·         Warranty-covered defects will be repaired free of charge (if the product/s still in the warranty defined duration) through our authorized service centers.

The warranty shall be considered void in the following cases:

·         If the customer operates the device before the attendance of a certified technician from the company.

·         This warranty does not apply if the device has been tampered with, modified, changed, or if any part has been repaired by a person or entity other than the company or its authorized service centers.

·         The warranty shall be void if the devices are used for industrial or commercial purposes, as they are intended for household use only.

4.      Governing Law

This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations.
